Helene was born before 1307 in Nürnberg, Bayern, the daughter of Friedrich IV von Zollern-Nürnberg and Margarete von Görz.

She died after 1374. The place is not known.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Otto V (VIII) von Orlamünde, who she married in ABT 1321. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Friedrich II (?-<1367), Otto (?-?), Helene (?-1369) and Agnes (?-?).

Her second husband was Heinrich IX von Schwarzburg, who she married on AFT 27 NOV 1346. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Heinrich XV (c1358-1402).
